The Charleston Home Builders Association hosted its annual Oyster Roast presented by Sherwin Williams OUTDOORS at the beautiful and sprawling Kiawah River, a new development on Johns Island with sweeping views of the lowcountry, and featuring several of our very own builder members such as JacksonBuilt Custom Homes, New Leaf Builders, Dolphin Architects & Builders and Structures Building Company. It was a fun night of live music by Thomas Champagne & Friends, burgers from Victor’s Lab Food Truck, and of course loads and loads of local oysters supplied by Clark’s Termite & Pest Control. The Home Builders Association of Anderson announces the passing of their oldest living Spike. Owen Fisher Arnold, Jr., 94, of Anderson, SC, passed away Sunday, September 6, 2020 at AnMed Health Medical Center. Owen was a pivotal member of the Anderson HBA. Born December 22, 1925, in Anderson, SC, he was the son of the late Owen Fisher Arnold, Sr. and the late Sudie Abercrombie Arnold. Owen proudly served in the U. S. Army during World War II. He was the owner and operator of Arnold's Masonry Company for 46 years. Owen served as vice president of the Anderson Home Builders Association and was a member of Vareness Heights Baptist Church.

Yohe Plumbing took first place in the morning shoot, with Aiken Pest Control taking First in the afternoon. Both teams plan to compete in the State Shoot on December 10! Aiken Pest Control Team: Dan Paxton, Adam Godbye, Tom Emery and Tommy Emery.
Horry Georgetown Home Builders Association’s Annual Family Outing turned out to be quite a fun filled event. There was something for everyone from Corn hole Tournament, Hayrides, Costumes, Chicken Bog, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Children’s Contests & Games to Making your own S’more. No Fright in this night, just fun and frolic at The Lake House of Mr. L. W. Paul!

Lakelands Homebuilders Association hosted their 1st Annual Clay Shoot on October 23, 2020, at the beautiful Palmetto Shooting Complex in Edgefield S. C. -that was built by one of their very own members. There were 25 teams, 100 shooters participating in this event and raised over $8,000 that will be used for scholarships to local schools, Lander University and Piedmont Technical College.
